Bella H has had some wow sets the past two weeks. Hitting and maintaining some great times. Getting excited to race and see it pay off in a couple weeks at NYAC Cup. Keep it up Bella!
- Coach Casey Leslie
Senior Blue
Zoe S has been very diligent with her habits the past month. It is great to see an athlete commit to the "boring" or "harder" aspects of the sport. It demonstrates how dedicated she is to her goals. Can't wait to see her race next weekend. Go Zoe!

The group is off to a fantastic start!
We have been working on improving kick, body position and learning about efficiency in all strokes. Our next challenge is to maintain these skills, during longer sets and races.
For the Downtown Sprint meet, our main focus was holding proper technique, and thinking about how to swim fast - without racing suits. After lots of PB's, the group is ready to go for Gus Ryder!
Swimmers of the Month:
Blake B and Oliver S - These two swimmers are excellent leaders, and a great example to some of our new Senior Whites. They work hard; hold each other accountable; and have fun during workouts.
- Coach Amanda Andal
Senior Orange
Harrison M – Harrison’s work ethic has truly stood out over the past couple of months. When faced with a tough set, he always brings a positive attitude and loves to challenge himself. No matter what the workout is, Harrison consistently gives his best effort, and sets a great example for his teammates.

Junior Provincial
Congratulations to Emma R, the October swimmer of the month for Junior Provincial. Emma has demonstrated great potential, overall intensity and an unwavering commitment to excellence each day at training. She has progressed steadily the first few months of the season and is the swimmer who gets the most out of her daily training sessions. Emma understands the process involved in reaching her goals. She has set high expectations for herself and is always prepared to work her hardest to move toward these goals. Emma is a serious competitor and always treats the sport with the highest level of respect. She is always looking for ways to improve and she takes the time to implement accurately any suggestions that are offered. Emma is open, coachable and self-motivated-the traits that are evident in every successful competitive swimmer. In addition, Emma has an extremely impressive set of personal skills. She is kind, humble and always supportive of others. One can easily tell that Emma is on a path that will be full of magical moments and many podium performances. Congratulations Emma!

Congratulations to Beau B, the October swimmer of the month for Junior Blue. Beau has had a wonderful start to the season with consistent intensity and more importantly she has brought a great deal of enthusiasm and determination to each and every practice. These positive habits have led to great performances and improvements at the recent TSC Sprint meet. Beau has a high level of swimming intelligence and I subscribe to the belief that a thinking swimmer will succeed most times when facing just a physical swimmer-especially a thinking swimmer who is always prepared to put in the necessary work to improve their strength, stroke technique and conditioning. Beau is a kind and respectful and treats everyone well and has earned the respect of her teammates and the coaching staff. Beau is a self-motivated and immensely curious about the smallest details in swimming. She asks questions, seeks clarifications and constantly looks for ways to improve. Beau has a really impressive set of personal skills, which will serve her well in what I believe will be a long and magical swimming career. Congratulations Beau!

Youth Provincial
The Youth group has been doing a lot of learning, and having thoughtful discussions about how to be coachable; engaged; and set themselves up for success this season.
Our Downtown Sprint meet showed big PB's, and great team spirit! We'll be keeping up the hard working leading into Gus Ryder, and Border City.
Swimmer of the Month: Bea C - Bea has made some HUGE improvements in her stroke, and fitness since Sept. She comes into practice every day with a smile, ready to work hard, and is always up for a challenge (whether it is a faster pace time; longer set; etc). I appreciate that she is always aiming to be a little better every day, and I am excited to see what she will accomplish this season.
