AURORA DUCKS SWIMMING CLUB INC. provides a multi-level program designed to develop interest and participation in competitive swimming. Swimmers are provided with a program to match their abilities and ambitions. Physical development, proper conditioning and good health habits are encouraged. Swimmers also learn team aspects of co-operation, responsibility and leadership, as well as individual dedication, confidence and self-esteem. An atmosphere is created in which the desire for self-improvement and goal achievement motivates the individual to develop their natural abilities and to help others do likewise.

AURORA DUCKS SWIMMING CLUB INC. is an incorporated not for profit club, run by experienced swim coaches. The Board of Directors and membership are made up of coaches with a minimum of 15 years experience.

VISION STATEMENT: Aurora Ducks Swimming is committed to be a progressive and dynamic team that promotes exciting, quality opportunities for all swimmers, with a specific focus on excellence.

PHILOSOPHY:

1. That every child has an opportunity to excel.
2. That no child be pushed to excel beyond their physical or psychological limits even if this means holding a child back.
3. That emphasis is placed on high performance levels of swimming & a program designed to nurture & mold the young swimmer towards this level. Increased opportunities & rewards will be provided as the swimmer reaches these high performance levels.
