uOttawa Pool Closing: Filtration System Update

The Greater Ottawa Kingfish have been informed that the University of Ottawa Pool will be closed until October 06, 2023 to install a new filtration system and bulkehead at the pool.  Along with the new HVAC system installed two years ago, uOttawa is installing the new filtration System as a solution to fix air circulation/quality issues that have occurred in the past.   This plan will allow the pool to stay open long term and will facilitate all future programing in a healthy environment.  

Update:  uOttawa is planning to  open in October 2023.  GO Kingfish are finalizing programing updates for September now.

The following group practice templates will be affected:

• Youth Group:  First day of practice: September 12 -   Canterbury Pool 6:00am-7:30am 
• Senior Group: First week of practice - September 11   
• GO Perform:   First week of practice - September 11
• GO Perfor ID:  First week of pracice - September 11
