• Demonstrate a high level of interest and desire to learn • Demonstrate desire to attend practices and work with coach on a schedule that allows ownership of results. • Attends scheduled swim meets and organized club and provincial events that work into swimmers schedule.. • Demonstrates good sportsmanship around the pool and follows the club values of PRIDE TOUGHNESS RESPECT with their peers and younger club members. • Are willing to lead and encourage the younger club members when the opportunity arises. |

• Should be able to complete a 50m swim without stopping and with a proper turn. • Should demonstrate the ability to perform all 4 kicks. • Should be able to perform a flutter kick, both front and back in streamline. • Should be able to perform correctly Butterfly Breaststroke, Backstroke and Freestyle swims for 25m with basic skills. • Should be able to perform basic competitive skills such as turns and streamlines consistently. • Should demonstrate coachability. |
