Manta Travels To Canadian Western Championships
OVERALL CLUB RANKINGS – 7th Place
A team is a group of individuals who work together to accomplish a shared goal. MANTAs goal is to take the club to new heights and utilizing everyone's unique strengths of our MANTA swimming family, build upon our past success and develop into a national model of excellence committed to each individual and overall TEAM success while constantly emphasizing our five core values: Honesty, Integrity, Competitiveness, Resiliency and Respect. Sharing a goal creates a sense of enhances team cohesion since teammates know everyone in the pool is working their hardest to do exactly the same thing.
A team/family environment is essential because it creates a culture where athletes can both push and learn from each other to do their best every day. MANTA is a group of individuals that have been striving towards bettering themselves, and consequently each other, on a daily basis throughout the season. This was clearly evident this past weekend at the 2019 Western Canadian Championships, which contagious bar-raising performances snowballed throughout preliminary and finals sessions.

The group as a whole has obviously developed a knack for racing, and this was especially apparent during finals swimming.
