MANTA WORKS TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE TEAM TITLE - JUNIOR PROVINCIALS
MANTA swimmers are moving forward each week in their training and were excited for the opportunity once again to race at our Junior Provincials (SC) at our home pool - Winnipeg Pan Am. We were truly excited to compete, break more ground in the province and finish this successful season on a high note. MANTA will continue to be committed to hard work and dedication. MANTA will strive to be superior in every possible way, while being invincible in attitude and superior in skill.
We sent over 50 swimmers to come together to race, learn and execute how to prepare for each session. The real key that we want our athletes to understand is that the real test lies within preparation ahead of time, not the actual competition.
It was clear from Day 1 that MANTA swimmers wanted to set a precedent for not only a strong weekend of swimming but set the bar for the upcoming Championship Season. This was achieved by a thorough club performance – from all age categories and all groups. MANTA characteristically got off to a strong start in the earlier sessions but started a new trend of a dominant performance throughout the entire weekend by finishing strong on the last day. This performance is a verification of our TEAM and ever-surging solidarity that is evident throughout our program.
We are extremely proud of our Manta athletes and their focus towards their development and TEAM
We accomplished:
94% of Pbs in 400 Free, 400IM, 800 Free by MANTA
Overall 90% of PBs by MANTA
Medal Count - 139 Medals by MANTA
Congratulations, one again to all our athletes and let’s keep working hard and together.
GO MANTA GO!!!
