MANTA WORKS HARDS AND STRIVES AT LONG COURSE PROVINCIALS - WINNIPEG
It has been an unprecedented season of quality training and competitions for MANTA. The full-time use of a world-class pool has continued to heighten the club’s level of excitement and simultaneously elevate each swimmer’s ceiling of potential. The new programming, philosophy of development and mindset towards HARD WORK and TEAM have had dramatic effects on the club’s training environment and consequently shown promising results in competitions so far in 2018-2019. MANTA continues to build a culture inclusive of our core values: Honesty, Integrity, Competitiveness, Resiliency and Respect.
Congratulations to all swimmers from “top to bottom” throughout the Provincials weekend. We had outstanding team performances throughout, and numerous individual highlights compiled towards one of the most successful stretches – and seasons. MANTA swimmers put together a complete weekend; complete in a sense that there were solid performances in a variety of events on all four days of competition. This well-rounded performance exemplified the upside of developing expanded swimming résumés, which is something that MANTA has been working towards this season. As always, consistency is key. Consistency lead MANTA to a medal count of 70, numerous best times and new qualifiers for Westerns Championships and Senior Nationals.
A big thank you to all our MANTA officials for all their dedication and to all our MANTA parents coming out and being a great support system in the stands. Well Done, we appreciate it.
Once again, Congratulations to all swimmers on contributing to a spectacular TEAM performance!
