MANTA SWIMMERS REPRESENT AT HOME POOL – 2019 SUMMER NATIONALS
Congratulations to all MANTA swimmers from “top to bottom” throughout the LC Championship Season. We had outstanding team performances throughout the month and numerous individual highlights compiled towards one of the most successful stretches. Manitoba’s championship schedule culminated in Winnipeg for the Canadian Summer Nationals (LC). MANTA swimmers put together a complete weekend; complete in a sense that there were solid performances in a variety of events on all four days of competition. This well-rounded performance exemplified the upside of developing expanded swimming résumés, which is something that MANTA has been working towards. As always, consistency is key. Consistency lead our MANTA swimmers to achieve 90% personal best times, 13 A Final swims, 2 Gold Medals, 2 Silver Medals, 1 Bronze Medal. Well Done everyone!
Congratulations to all our Manta swimmers and to their dedication to enhancing their development, education, and experience.
The MANTA program continuously strives for the following objectives:
- Promote the development of strong, well-rounded (all events at the appropriate time) age group and senior swimming platforms.
- Provide recognition and resources to motivate and assist our athletes to strive for the highest ideals of student-athlete performances.
Additionally, we would like to extend our thankfulness to all volunteers and officials for making the event run smoothly and efficiently. We are truly appreciative of those individuals who dedicate their time and efforts to help our athletes achieve their goals and dreams.
