GAZIEV COMPETES AT THE TYR SERIES IN GREENSBORO, NORTH CAROLINA
The TYR Pro Swim Series is holding its first of five U.S. meets in the 2019-20 season at the Greensboro Aquatics Center from Nov. 6-9. A contingent of international swimmers, including many potential Olympians is competing in this pro meet as the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo nears.
Ruslan entered the meet carrying a big training load with him, but he held himself accountable, self-disciplined and took the necessary steps to dig down deep to race the best Americans at the meet.
Ruslan made the A final in the 100 and 200 Free and was just off his personal best times. Gaziev mentioned, “I have been doing some great training with Coach Rob, working on technique, tactics and how to approach these events with a competitive mindset. Coach Rob runs a driven program of accurate preparation and cumulative and progressive benchmarks/performance”. I am eager for the next stage of training based off my early season results here in Greensboro.
Great job Ruslan!
