NCSS - Nose Creek Shark School

Our program is a lot different from swimming lessons, we don't pass or fail, nor do we teach one on one while the rest sit on the side and watch. We teach as a group, all of our instructors are former competitive swimmers with senior mentor coaches on deck. We are much more technical than swimming lessons and correct stroke technique rather than fail swimmers.

We train out of the Genesis Place in Airdrie and the Thornhill Aquatic Centre (64th and centre NW Calgary). Your swimmer attends the one location that makes the most sense logistically for your family.

Stage 1 - swimmers should be comfortable in the water, able to let go of the side and swim a few meters, does not need to be a recognizable stroke. If your swimmer can swim a full 25 meters, and thrives with stronger swimmers, we recommend stage 2.

Cost - $122 per month - September to the end of May.

Airdrie T/Th - 5:00 - 5:30 pm

Calgary T/Th - 4:30 - 5:00 pm

Calgary M/W - 5:30 - 6:00 pm

Stage 2 - swimmers should be able to complete 25 meters (1 length) with recognizable (not perfect :) front crawl (freestyle) or back crawl (backstroke)

Cost - $142 per month - September to the end of May

Stage 3 - swimmers must be able to complete a full 25 meters of front crawl (freestyle) and back crawl (backstroke) with proper breathing and body position

Cost - $142 per month - September to the end of May

Both Stage 2 & Stage 3

Airdrie - T/Th 4:00 - 4:45 pm or 4:45 - 5:30 pm or 5:30 - 6:15 pm

Calgary - T/Th 4:30 - 5:15 pm or 5:15 - 6:00 pm

Calgary - M/W 4:00 - 4:45 pm or 4:45 - 5:30 pm
