Introduction au rôle de l’officiel (chronométreur)/ Contrôleur de la sécurité | Intro to Officiating (Timekeeper) /Safety Marshal (BILINGUE | BILINGUAL)

Description: Ce stage constitue la première étape du parcours de certification de Natation Canada pour les officiels et constitue un prérequis pour tous les autres cours d'officiels. Les participants découvriront le rôle des différents officiels sur le bord de la piscine et les règles générales de sécurité. Ils apprendront également les différents types d'appareils de chronométrage et leur utilisation optimale. Après avoir réussi ce cours, les participants seront classés comme officiels de natation de « Niveau 1 » et recevront l'épinglette rouge d'officiel de Natation Canada.

Description: This clinic is the first step on the Swimming Canada certification pathway for officials and the prerequisite for all other officials courses. Participants will learn about the roles of the various officials on the pool deck and the general safety rules. Participants will also learn about the different forms of timing devices and how best to manipulate them. Upon successful completion of this course, participants are classified as “Level 1” swimming officials and receive the Swim Canada Official’s Red pin.
