Athlete Support Services

2025-2026 Season

Supporting the development of every athlete goes far beyond the pool or the gym. That’s why we have made a sizeable investment of both time and resources to create an athlete support program and integrated support team that benefits all athletes, regardless of performance level. We not only provide access to specialized professionals in Mental Performance, Sport Nutrition, Athletic Therapy, Underwater Filming and Analysis, as well as access to a comprehensive yoga program for our athletes, but also integrate advanced performance tools like VALD Performance Dynamos and ForceDecks to monitor progress, guide development, and accelerate recovery.

Every member of the club receives two free sessions with our specialists, along with the option of additional one-on-one consultations for personalized guidance and support at their own cost.

Our primary focus is prevention: through seminars for athletes and parents, we build awareness, knowledge, and healthy habits that reduce the risk of injury, burnout, and setbacks. And because all these services are delivered on site at the Pointe-Claire Aquatic Centre, our athletes benefit from an unprecedented level of support and convenience. This comprehensive, cutting-edge approach helps athletes perform at their best, stay healthy, and build long-term resilience for the future.

Access

All Pointe-Claire Swim Club, Pointe-Claire Dive Club, and Canoe Kayak Pointe-Claire athletes have access to our athlete support services.

Cost

All athletes in the club are entitled to two free appointments with our specialists. Once used, the family will be requried to cover the cost of the appointments. The cost varies based on the service provider.

How to Apply

The application process for our athlete support program can be done in three ways: athletes may apply for themselves, parents may apply for the athlete, and coaches may apply for the athlete. All applications require approval from the parents and the coach before they move forward to our Integrated Support Team.
