The Swift Current Barracudas Swim Club offers a variety of programs for many ages, abilities, and goal levels.

The Mini Barracuda program offers learn to swim and water safety skills. Swimmers will work towards being comfortable in the water and developing skill independence.

The Barracudas training programs include, Pre-Competitive, Fitness, Conditioning, Competitive and Master’s Swimming.

Fitness programming focuses on swimming for enjoyment and overall health, without the pressure of competition.

Conditioning is for off season athletes or swimmers looking for a short commitment. This program runs in four weeks sessions and is great to keep in shape in conjunction with other sports.

Competitive swimmers will train to compete, perfecting their strokes and learning the concepts of sprints and endurance. These swimmers must be seven years of age or older and must compete in at least two meets a year. This group will be split into three levels, swimmers will be registered as competitive and assigned a level by the head coach.

Master’s swimming is an adult program, ages 18 and up. There are three levels on Masters, Intro to Swimming, Recreational and Competitive.

Our club is run by its Board of Directors, Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Junior Coaches. All coaches participate in training and are equipped with the necessary skills to provide a safe and beneficial learning environment.

Any questions regarding the club can be directed to the Head Coach.
