I swam for the team for 15 years competing at the provincial and national levels. I am entering my 12th year coaching. I am looking forward to helping the swimmers reach the best of their abilities this season. My goal for the season is to have all swimmers achieve to the best of their abilities in swimming and life.

Aside from coaching, I’m very passionate about fitness and well-being. I like to do running races and obstacle course events as well competing in triathlons.

 

Ethan Scheerer - ACES Assistant Coach

Hello! My name is Ethan Scheerer and I am a coach with the Wilmot Aquatic Aces Swimming Club. I am an energetic coach that looks to challenge swimmers in and out of the water while keeping the sport fun and enjoyable. I swam with the ACES for ten years and continued to swim out in New Brunswick at Mount Allison University for another two years before coming back to the ACES as a swim coach. I’ve been lucky enough to learn and gain experience from coaches like Mark and Sarah Fellner as well as the previous head coach, Joni Sanders, to improve my own abilities as a coach. I look forward to every practice as an opportunity to learn, grow, and develop not just athletes skills and abilities but also an opportunity to improve my own ability to coach and teach athletes.

This is my first year coaching at the ACES after having spent the past eight years competing at the provincial level. I enjoy watching the swimmers improve with each practice, both in skill and confidence. It's fulfilling to help guide them and pass on what I've learned through my years of competing, and I'm eager to see how far they can go. Some of my hobbies are to swim and exercise.

I’m coach Dalton this is my fourth year coaching, I was a competitive swimmer for 7 years and competed at Regionals, Provincials, Junior Nationals, and Senior Nationals until I was 16. I’m super excited for this season and can’t wait to help you achieve your goals.

 

 


Jamie - ACES On Call Coach

The 2024-2025 season marks my seventh year of coaching and my sixth with the Aces. I am passionate about what we do as a team and the development of the individual swimmers. I enjoy continuing education and how I can bring new ideas to the water for our swimmers to benefit from.  With a background in endurance sport and education in Therapeutic Recreation I feel there is a lot for us all to learn about our abilities.
