Zach ACES Head Development Coach

Email: [email protected]

This is my fourth year as a swim coach, however, I have had a massive background in swimming since I was born. I started swimming on the Windsor Aquatic Club when I was 3 and continued swimming for the Aces from ages 4-13. Since I was playing hockey and lacrosse at a high level I stopped swimming to focus on those sports. At 16 I became a fully certified lifeguard/instructor and have spent 10 years enjoying that aspect of teaching. I have some background working in recreational programming for children with neurodiversity’s working with the SNAP program through Brock university. I am very excited to be coaching this year as the Head Development coach of the Novice, Junior, and intro to para programs

The 2022-2023 season marks my fifth year of coaching and my fourth with the Aces. I am passionate about what we do as a team and the development of the individual swimmers. I enjoy continuing education and how I can bring new ideas to the water for our swimmers to benefit from.  With a background in endurance sport and education in Therapeutic Recreation I feel there is a lot for us all to learn about our abilities.
