Time standards are used to set qualifying benchmarks for swimmers at various levels of competition—from local meets to national championships. They help swimmers set goals and track their progress throughout the season.

Para Swimming Time Standards
Para Swimming offers competitive opportunities for athletes with physical, visual, or intellectual impairments. Maverick Aquatics proudly supports Para athletes of all experience levels.
Understanding the Levels
| Level | Description |

| B / BB / A / AA | Motivational time standards for age group swimmers. Great for goal setting. |
| State / Zones | Qualifying times for state and regional competitions. |
| Sectionals / Futures | Higher-level meets for advanced swimmers aiming to compete beyond their LSC. |
| Junior Nationals / Nationals | Elite meets for top swimmers in the country. |
