Meet Our Coaches 

Robert Adams-Michaud, Interim Head Coach USA Certified

Coach Rob grew up in Manchester, CT and started swimming when he was six years old at Glenbrooke Swim Club in East Hartford. In addition to breaking a number of club records, he has held the CAAPSC league record in the boys 12/under 50 free and 50 fly since 2010. Rob went on to swim for Laurel East Hartford YMCA and Manchester High School, where he was a YMCA National Qualifier and school record holder. He was a Team captain and CIAC All-State team member his junior and senior years. After high school, Rob swam Division 1 at the University of Delaware where he studied marketing. Coach Rob hopes to bring his knowledge and enthusiasm for swimming to IVY!


Lexi Ahluwalia

Lexi began swimming competitively at age 7, for the Enfiled Dolphins and continued her swim careeer in high school with the Enfield Somers Girls Varsity Swim Team.  She was captain of her high school team her senior year.  In addition to coaching, Lexi is a certified personal trainer andis studying to be a nurse. 


Travis Morse, USA Certified

Coach Travis was born and raised in Marbledale, CT and started swimming competitively when he was 5. He has been part of many swim teams throughout his swimming career including the Wilton Wahoo’s, Lasers Swim Team and Shepaug middle school/high school. He excelled at backstroke and sprint events and went on to swim 3 years at Springfield College where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Travis brings extensive coaching and aquatics management experience, having coached for Fairfield YMCA, Torrington YMCA, Torrington High School and Litchfield High School Swim Team. Travis has also represented both Torrington and Farmington Valley YMCA’s as their Aquatics Director.


Sean Pagsanhan

Coach Sean grew up in Ellington and began swimming competitively at 10 years old at Star Hill in Tolland. He joined the Breakers Swim team at the age of 12, and swimming for the Suffield-Ellington highschool co-op swim team at 14. Now he is an assistant coach putting his experience from the team to use to help the upcoming swimmers.


 Fred Porter, USA Certified

Coach Fred grew up in Newport News, VA and began swimming on base at Fort Eustis in late elementary school progressing to summer league in middle school. He was captain of his high school swim team. His favorite strokes were free style and breaststroke. His coaching philosophy for young swimmers is embodied well in the following quote, “Every coach knows that construction of a stroke is easier than correction of a stroke” (Leonard, 1985). He has a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia, an MDIV from Westminster and is in a Doctoral program at Gordon Conwell. In his free time Fred likes to swim, bike, run, and learn Brazilian jiujitsu.
