Reminder... The Junior Prep and Developmental Teams begin the 2014 Long Course Season tonight, Tuesday April 8th. Location: University of Saint Joseph *The pool is located in the O'Connell Center at the back of campus** Developmental Team: 6:30pm-7:30pm Junior Prep Team: 6:30pm-8:00pm **Please arrive by 6:20pm so the swimmers can start at 6:30pm**
WHAT's Up at Sectionals- Saturday Clara Capone ( 50 freestyle): finished 13th with a 24.16- TEAM RECORD; NASA Junior National cut; NCSA Junior National cut Tara Tiernan: Lifetime best in 50 freestyle breaking the :25 mark and recording a time of 24.90 200 Medley Relay: 1:53.70- Celeste Salopek, Clara Capone, Hayley McClure; Danielle Rocheleau- TEAM RECORD 400 Freestyle Relay- 3:38.36- finished 18th after posting a great morning swim- Celeste Salopek Danielle Rocheleau; Clara Capone; Tara Tiernan- TEAM RECORD

This past weekend, WHAT Swimming attended the 2014 Connecticut Swimming Age Group Championship held at Wesleyan University. The four day meet is a statewide competition in which swimmers achieve strict qualifying standards. WHAT Swimming’s men finished 10th and the women 15th out of 56 competing teams. WHAT Swimming recorded 12 team records, 110 lifetime best swims, a Distance High Point Champion, 5 Eastern Zone All-Star Zone Team Qualifiers and 2 additional SPEEDO Champion Series qualification times.
