ABOUT ARKANSAS SWIMMING

 

Arkansas Swimming, Inc. established in 1982, as a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.

 

ARSI is one of 59 Local Swimming Committees (LSC) with responsibility under USA Swimming to govern the sport of swimming in the State of Arkansas, and as set forth by USA Swimming. USA Swimming describes the Arkansas Swimming Committee (LSC) as the State of Arkansas and Bowie County, Texas.

 

Arkansas Swimming, as delegated to it in the USA Swimming Rules and Regulations, has jurisdiction to conduct swimming programs consistent with the policies and procedures of USA Swimming and to sanction, approve, observe, oversee and conduct, on behalf of USA Swimming, competitive swimming events within the LSC boundaries. Arkansas Swimming is located in the Central Zone, one of four geographic Zones defined by USA Swimming.

 
Mission/Vision Statement: Arkansas Swimming (ARSI) is dedicated to establishing a secure and nurturing environment that facilitates education, instruction, and training for individuals and fosters growth, integrity, and excellence in the sport of swimming. Our commitment extends to promoting swimming activities tailored to swimmers of diverse ages and skill levels while adhering to the operational standards, policies, and regulations outlined by World Aquatics, USA Swimming, ARSI, and its Articles of Incorporation.
 
All rules and regulations are subject to the USA Swimming Code. The rules and regulations are those locally adopted by ARSI House of Delegates (ARSIHOD). ARSI shall be the sport supervising committee for Aquatic Sports as outlined for the State of Arkansas as long as USA Swimming is the FINA member for the United States.
