Priscilla Jones Rhodes, who was born in April 1975 in Georgia but grew up in Little Rock, is a distinguished swimmer and proud 1993 graduate of Little Rock Central High School (LRCHS) and a 1997 graduate of Clemson University. During her childhood in Little Rock, she earned recognition as the 1989 Arkansas Girls’ State Champion in both the 50- and 100-meter freestyle and was a key member of LRCHS’s state championship teams in 1990 and 1992. Priscilla qualified for Junior Nationals from 1989 to 1991, placing 3rd in the 50-meter  freestyle in 1991. She also qualified for Senior Nationals in 1991 and 1992 and the U.S. Open in 1992, competing in the 50-meter freestyle. A scholarship recipient at Clemson, she was honored as The Arkansas Gazette Athlete of the Year in 1989-90 and 1990-91 and named JB Hunt Transport Senior Swimmer of the Year annually throughout her high school career. Priscilla held the Arkansas state record for the 50-meter freestyle in the 13-14 age group, won Senior Swimmer of the Year at Little Rock Racquet Clubfive times, and was awarded the Stephens, Inc. Travel Scholarship annually during her  high school years as well. In 1992, she was ranked in the Top 25 in the nation for the 50-meter freestyle, cementing her place as one of Arkansas' most accomplished swimmers.
