- Special Note: The 2026 Zone Open Water Championship is a qualifying event for the (I'm validating this with USA Swimming):
- 2027 5K Junior National Championship (15 & Under Age Group)
- Finish in the Top 15 at the 2025 Central Zone 5K Open Water (Open Division)
- Be 15 & Under (FINA Age on 12-31-2026) at the 2026 5K Junior National Championship
- 2027 7.5K Junior National Championship (16-17 Age Group)
- Finish in the Top 10 at the 2025 Central Zone 5K Open Water (Open Division)
- Be 16-17 (FINA Age on 12-31-2026) at the 2026 7.5K Junior National Championship
- 2027 5K Junior National Championship (15 & Under Age Group)

- Friday, April 3, 2026 5K Junior National [15 & Under*]: Men (8:30 AM) - Women (8:35 AM)

- 7.5K Junior National [16-17*]: Men (10:00 AM) - Women (10:05 AM)
