BLUE PRACTICE GROUPS

 

The Blue Practice Groups are designed for 13 & Over aged athletes who are looking to fine tune their swimming to get the most out of the sport and pursue their specific goals. These levels are designed to appropriately challenge your child depending on his or her experience and goals in the sport of swimming.

 

BLUE 1 ($105 per month)

The Blue 1 practice group is made up of swimmers 13 & Older with varying levels of swimming experience. Blue 1 swimmers will focus on refining their strokes through stroke-specific technique drills while increasing their aerobic endurance and anaerobic capacity through challenging swim and kick sets designed to prepare them for the next level and give them a good fitness workout. 

 

6 60-90 minute workouts are offered each week; minimum of 4 recommended each week. 

Meet expectations: home meets, close away meets, and highest championship meet qualified for. Typically meets are offered once every 3-4 weeks. 

 

BLUE 2 ($125 per month)

Blue 2 is a group for very experienced swimmers 13-and-older. Swimmers at this level have extensive experience training and competing in all four competitive swim strokes, in a variety of distances. Blue 2 swimmers will focus on refining their strokes through stroke-specific technique drills while increasing their aerobic endurance and anaerobic capacity through challenging swim and kick sets designed to prepare them for the sectional level or collegiate swimming. The advanced training and racing techniques learned previously are expected to be built upon and practiced regularly.

 

8 90 minute workouts offered each week; recommend 5-7 recommended each week. 

Meet expectations: home meets, close away meets, and highest championship meet qualified for. Typically meets are offered once every 3-4 weeks. 

 

BLUE 3 ($125 per month)

The Blue 3 practice group is designed for the most committed swimmers 14 and older. Blue 3 swimmers are expected to demonstrate humble excellence to their teammates, younger swimmers, and competitors every day. Blue 3 swimmers learn and apply the most advanced training and racing techniques in the water, in addition to high-level dryland training.

 

8 90-105 minute workouts offered each week; recommended 6-8 each week. 

Meet expectations: home meets, close away meets, and highest championship meet qualified for. Typically meets are offered once every 3-4 weeks.
