Coach Alec has been involved with the Sunrise Swimming program since 2002, as a swimmer, lesson instructor, and now as Head Coach.  He was a Division II All-American swimmer at Florida Southern College, and brings a high level of knowledge and enthusiasm to our Senior/Champions groups.  He has coached several swimmers to the Sectional and Futures levels.

Coach Lyn has been a member of our Sunrise Swimming program since she was 3 when she started our group lessons.  She joined Strokes-n-Fun as a 7-year-old, and then advanced through the groups until she was 15.  She returned to us as a lesson instructor and coach in 2021.  She is an asset to our staff and now coaches the Strokes-n-Fun and Bronze groups.

Owner of Sunrise Swimming.  Christi was an All-American swimmer at the University of Florida.  She has been teaching swimming since 1980 and coaching since 1997.  She brings this experience and knowledge to our team.  She is currently working with the Strokes-n-Fun and Bronze groups.  

Coach Christi also manages the office and heads Sunrise Swimming’s Lesson Program. 

Scott has been a part of our Sunrise Swimming family for nearly 20 years.  He is currently working with our Gold group and also oversees our Open Water practices.  Scott also trains and often competes in Master's meets and open water swims.  

Dave has worked with young swimmers since 1978.  He has his Level 5 ASCA Certification, which is the highest achievement level for coaches in the United States.  Several of his athletes were National Age-Group stars and many went on to succeed at the college and Olympic Trial levels.  Although he is no longer on deck or working with athletes, he provides guidance to all the coaches on staff.

Coach June helped out with all levels of the program from 2001 until 2015.  She taught and coached swimming since 1970: 16 years with Fort Lauderdale Swim Team; 14 years with Plantation Swim Team; and her last 14 years with Sunrise Swimming  She was an invaluable asset to our program and we miss her every day.
