Hurricane Aquatics Summer Camp is back for 2025! The University of Miami Outdoor pool serves as an amazing location to host a fun-filled educational summer full of camp. Each summer, Hurricane Aquatics hosts its popular Swim Camp for swimmers of age 7-12. This celebrated day camp, based at the beautiful outdoor pool at the Whitten University Center on the Coral Gables campus, provides instruction in the areas of swimming in a group setting, springboard diving, and stroke technique. Our staff includes energetic and knowledgeable coaches and instructors who are eager to share their passion for the sport of swimming. The impact of our experienced counselors combined with various water and field group activities results in a fun and rewarding summer experience.
TO PARTICIPATE:
To participate in Swim Camp, each camper must be 7-12 years old and able to swim 12.5 yards for safety. 6-year-old swimmers who are currently swimming in our Stroke School program are eligible for camp. Please contact Hurricane Aquatics directly to receive instructions on how to register these particular swimmers.

8:30 am-8:50 am Drop Off
9:00 am-12 pm Instructional Swimming Stations
12 pm-12:45 pm Lunch
1:00 pm-3:00 pm Instructional Swimming Stations and Arts&Crafts
3:15 pm-3:30 pm Pick Up
WHAT TO BRING:
All Campers should bring the following: Change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, bug spray, pair of shoes, and a lightweight jacket. Video games are NOT allowed! Cell phone use is permitted only after the camp day has ended.
LUNCH OPTIONS:
Campers can bring a lunch from home or bring money to buy lunch in the food court. Food court choices will vary on a week-to-week basis.
CAMP FEES
Tuition: $310 – 1 Week, T-Shirt, Pizza Friday
DISCOUNTS: Contact Hurricane Aquatics to receive a coupon code prior to registration, a valid Alumni or Cane Card is required. Partial Refunds and Credits will not be provided to those who register without the proper coupon code.
UM Faculty, Staff, and Alumni Discount -$25
Current Hurricane Aquatics Customers -$10
Early Registration -$50 with the coupon code EARLY2025 – Valid until May 15, 2025
Only One Discount Code is applicable for each purpose.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
1. The full cost of a week of camp is due at the time of registration to reserve your child’s space in camp.
2. Refunds, minus $75, will be given to those who cancel their registration at least 3 days prior to the start of the camp week. The non-refundable $75 dollars will remain as a credit for your Hurricane Aquatics account and can be used for up to one calendar year on programming fees.
3. In the case of illness or emergency, exchanges for a later week of camp will be accommodated, as space is available.
