Jessie Walsh, Madeline McAdams, Madi Baron, and HaleyTompkins are standing on the road to Barefoot Beach today selling lemonade to raise money for GCST.

GCST swimmers had some great swims and big time drops at the T2 Saturday Special Swim Meet at the Norris Pool in Naples, FL on April 2, 2011.  68 of 119 swims were best times.  Event Winners: Madi Baron, Jack Curran, McKenna Fiore, Roe Marsala, Madeline McAdams, Max McHarris, Alex Subbert, and Haley Tompkins. Most Improved Time: Joshua Benzon in the 200 Free with 31.18 seconds down. Sunday Finals...Molly DuBrasky finished 10th in the A Final of the 200 Fly with a 2:24.  Courtney DeVeny finished 5th in the B Finals of the 200 Back with a 2:28.  Tayler DuBrasky finished 5th in the 1500 Free with a 16:18.58. GCST swimmers had some very good swims at the Area 3-5 Championships in Sarasota. 67 of 129 swims were personal best times. Madi Baron made a new FLAGS cut in the 50 Free for 10 & Under Girls. All Best Times:  Nikki McCollum, Gigi Miano, and Gabby Shepherd had all best times at the meet with some outstanding time drops.  Estero High School senior, Molly DuBrasky was named the 2011 Florida Dairy Farmers Girls’ 2A Swimmer-of-the-Year following a final round of voting by a statewide panel of high school swimming coaches.  DuBrasky is the 20th winner of the annual award sponsored by Florida Dairy Farmers, Inc. and the Florida Athletic Coaches Association to honor the top high school girls’ swimmer for the 2011 season.
