🏊♂️ Getting an Evaluation – Join Spartans Aquatic Club
Before joining Spartans Aquatic Club (SPAC), all new athletes must complete a swim evaluation. This process helps us place each swimmer in the group that best matches their current skill level—ensuring a positive and developmentally appropriate experience.
🔍 What to Expect During an Evaluation
-
Swimmers will be asked to demonstrate one or more of the four competitive strokes.
-
Advanced swimmers may be asked to complete a short group test set to help determine their appropriate training level.
-
Evaluations last approximately 10-15 minutes.
-
After the evaluation, the coach will recommend a group, and you’ll be able to proceed with registration.
✅ Minimum Requirements to Join
-
Minimum Age: 6 years old
-
Minimum Skill Level: Proficient in freestyle and backstroke, and legal in either butterfly or breaststroke
📌 If your swimmer does not yet meet these requirements, please check out our Spartan Swim Academy for swim lesson options.
