Advanced Age Group 2 (AAG2)
From the Gold group, athletes progress into the Advanced Age Group 2 (AAG2). Athletes in this group are usually at least 9 years-old and have completed the Gold Group’s move-up skills list. Swimmers in this group will continue to develop swim strokes and competitive swim techniques. Swimmers will be exposed to competitive land and water training preparing for higher distance races. Competing at swim meets is required at a rate of about one per month. Coach Sergiy will determine when swimmers are ready for this group.
Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday @ Washington Park 5:00-6:30 pm
Friday @ Washington Park 4:00-5:30 pm
Saturdays @ Washington Park 10:00-11:30 am
4-5 Practices per week are recommended.
COST:
- USAC Annual Registration: $160
- USA Swimming Annual Registration Fee: $80 (Paid to USA Swimming after 9/1/24)
- Monthly Fee: $215
- Meet Fees: vary depending on the meet
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED: kickboard, flippers, pull buoy, paddles, snorkel
