CCAC Update 1/11/24
Practice Schedule Updates for This Week
Senior group will report directly to the pool deck for practice Friday Evening at 5:30 PM. Their practice will end at 7:30 PM. All other groups will have normal practice Friday Evening.
No practices Saturday morning due the the McCallie/GPS January Invite.

High School/Middle School Season is Coming to an End
HS/MS season is almost over. That means we will have several practice cancellations over the next few weeks.
Monday, January 15th - No practices for Bronze and Silver groups. Gold, Bullet and Senior groups will swim 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and lift from 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Friday, January 19th - No Practice due to North Georgia Regions
Saturday, January 20th - No Practice due to North Georgia Regions
Tuesday, January 23rd - No Practice due to DHS Senior Night
Tuesday, February 6th - No Practice due to GHSA State Championships
Wednesday, February 7th - No Practice due to GHSA State Championships
Thursday, February 8th - No Practice due to GHSA State Championships
Congratulations to our 2023-2024 HIT Squad!
HIT (Holiday Intensive Traning) was AWESOME this year! We quadrupled the amount of swimmers who made the minimum required practices to get the HIT Squad Shirt form last year. We are already seeing some great meet performances! HARD WORK PAYS OFF! Coach Jason will be reaching out to get shirt sizes. Look for the HIT Shirts to arrive around the first week of February.

Special Olympics Practices Begin Monday, February 12th
The Special Olympics Group will begin practicing on Monday evenings, beginning February 12 and ending May 20th. They will practice from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM This will only affect the Senior and Bullet groups practice schedule.
The Senior and Bullet groups will swim from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM and lift weights 5:30PM - 6:30 PM on those dates.
Coach Jason will be helping with the Special Olympics this year. We are looking for some of HS aged swimmers to volunteer with the program!
Olympic Gold Medalist and the Hero of the Most Exciting US Olympic Relay of All TIme Coming to CCAC!
Jason Lezak will be doing a clinic at DHS on Sunday, May 5th.

We need at least 30 participants for this clinic. The maximum cost will be $150 per swimmer, but if we get more than 30 participants signed up we can lower the cost. Please email Coach Jason if you want to sign your swimmers up for the clinic!
