CCAC Update 11/20/24
Practice Schedule Change for Saturday, November 11th
The coaches must attend the McCallie Invitational (High School Meet)on Saturday morning. We need to keep all of the swimmers not competing in the invitational in the water. We will have practice for the Senior, Bullet, and Gold groups from 6:00-8:00 AM on Saturday.
Turkey Shoot Practice Thursday Night
Our annual Turkey Shoot practice is tomorrow night! We need some of our older swimmers and parents to help blow up balloons and set up before the practice begins. Coach Jason will be in the overlook above the starting blocks at 4:30 PM. We could also use help from parents monitoring swimmers during the game.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold 5:30-6:30
Bullets and Senior - No weights; Turkey Shoot 6:30-8:00
One last thing... Swimmers should come prepared with a few jokes to make the coaches laugh. The coaches don't have much of a sense of humor, so bring your A-GAME.

Jingle Bell Classic
We are excited to see so many of our swimmers signed up for Jingle Bell! Registration closes tonight at 11:59 PM. If you still need to register your swimmer, please do so this evening. Also, we are off to a great start with our volunteer sign-ups. Please make sure to sign up to help.
Summer Meet Schedule
The Long Course meet schedule has been posted on the website. Our meet attendance has been fantastic this year, and our swimmers have progressed so much that we felt the need to add in an extra long course opportunity this year. CASL will release the Dalton Dolphins dual meet schedule in early March. We are estimating City Meet to take place on July 11th and 12th. At this time, we do not have a clue when the GRPA Meets will take place.
Summer Jobs for Our Swimmers
We hope to bring back our swim lesson program this spring and summer. If the John Davis Pool opens on time, it will free up the DHS pool to bring back our lesson program. We are also considering changing our requirements to be on the Dalton Dolphins, which would increase our need to hire some Junior Coaches. Any of our swimmers aged 16 or older should talk to Coach Jason if they are interested.
