CCAC Update 11/12/25
DHS Home Meet on Thursday, November 13th
We will not have evening practice on Thursday, November 13th, due to the DHS vs. Darlington dual meet. Bullet and Senior groups will practice from 5:30 to 7:00 AM.
Annual Turkey Shoot Practice!
It’s almost time for our Annual Turkey Shoot Practice! This year’s Turkey Shoot will be on Thursday, November 20th.
For those of you who have never been to our Turkey Shoot. It’s a special practice where we assign different sets/activities to a specific number. We put the numbers on a board and then cover them with a balloon. Swimmers throw darts at the balloons and complete the set that matches the number displayed behind each balloon. Every year, we tell the swimmers to come prepared with a joke. It’s to their benefit if they can make Coach Jason laugh. He’s kind of a fuddydud, so you better have good jokes! We think only Matthew Shaheen has been able to make Coach Jason laugh at the Turkey Shoot.
Bronze, Silver, and Gold groups will practice from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Bullets and Senior will practice from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. We would like the Bullet and Seniors to help with the Bronze, Silver, and Gold Turkey Shoot.
We will need some volunteers to come early to blow up balloons and get the boards ready. We could also use some volunteers to help on deck during the Turkey Shoot.
Upcoming Practice Schedule Changes
Thursday, November 13th - No PM practices due to DHS vs. Darlington dual meet. Bullet and Senior groups will have practice from 5:30 to 7:00 AM.
Thursday, November 20th - TURKEY SHOOT PRACTICE!
Saturday, November 22nd - Gold, Bullet, and Senior groups will practice early due to the McCallie High School Invitational. We will not do dryland that day. Practice will be from 6:00 to 8:00 AM.

Jingle Bell Classic
We are hosting the Jingle Bell Classic on Sunday, December 14th. Please register by Thursday, November 20th. We already have a good amount of volunteers a month out, but please make sure to sign up for a volunteer position. We cannot run great meets without you!
