We hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! We are in the final weeks of High School and Middle School Season. There are multiple upcoming practice schedule changes due to swim meets. Please refer to the schedule changes towards the bottom of the update.
HCMS Home Meet Tuesday, January 5th
No practices on Tuesday due to the HCMS home meet.
McCallie/GPS January Invite
We will send the detailed warm-up schedule and heat sheet as soon as we receive them. No practice for Bullet and Senior on Friday night. No practice for Gold, Bullet, and Senior groups on Saturday.

Spring/Summer Swim Meet Schedule
We know many of you are beginning to plan your spring and summer calendars. We like to have the spring and summer for CCAC scheduled in early November, but Georgia Swimming was late in releasing its calendar this year. In addition, we have been trying to find a suitable swim meet to replace the Northwestern Divisionals in March. We have not been able to find a meet, so we will get with our officials and see if we can run an intersquad meet in its place. We have not finalized the locations of the Long Course Meets we will be attending, but the dates are pretty firm.

Dalton Dolphins
Speaking of summer! Please start talking up Dalton Dolphins to your friends. Dalton Dolphins practices will begin Monday, May 4th. The dual meet schedule will be ready in mid-March. You can plan for most meets to be on Mondays and Thursdays, starting the first week of June and continuing through early July. We may do a Tuesday or Wedensday meet the week of June 22 due to the Huntsville Long Course Meet. We are anticipating a six dual-meet schedule. The GRPA schedule is very much up in the air. There have been no bids to host the GRPA State Championships. Changes made to the GRPA Championships and the growing popularity of the Atlanta Swim League have effectively killed the GRPA meets. We have been proposing changes to GRPA for two years to no avail. We will update everyone as we know what is happening with GRPA. Our Dalton Dolphins priority meet is City Meet, which WE ARE HOSTING this year. City Meet will be at FTO on Friday, July 10th, and Saturday, July 11th.
