Joining Kona Aquatics USA Swimming Club!

  • Meet with one of the coaches to set up a time for a swim assessment. 
  • Once your child has completed the assessment, they'll be placed in the Gold, Silver (Kona Dolphins) or Bronze (Kona Dolphins) groups

  • Start attending practices!
  • You will receive an email with details on how to complete the online USA Swimming registration process for you and your child.

Note:  Swimmers that are interested in a tryout before joining the team can attend practice for up to 2 weeks before registering.

Outreach Program is available for significant membership and dues discounts.  Let Kona Aquatics know if you qualify based on Section A or Section B of this Outreach document.

The following are the fees for the 2025/2026 USA Swimming season.  Payments will automatically be charged the 1st of each month through the Kona Aquatics TeamUnify site.

  • $20 reduction on fee for each additional child from the same family
  • Charged 12 months a year, 2 weeks off after long course state meet, 1 week or less off in December (depending on pool availability).  Short course championship meet in February or March.
  • Weekly Attend is what Aquatics and Dolphins anticipate for a swimmer’s weekly attendance.  Attending more days a week is acceptable.
  • Swim Meets are available for all levels.  Based on studies of kids on swim teams, swim meets are where kids have the most fun.  We encourage attending swim meets at all levels.  With the more advanced groups, swim meets are a critical part of being on the swim team.

Meet Fees

  • $3.5 per event
  • 4 or 5 events per meet
  • All meet fees will be automatically added to your next monthly bill 
  • Kona Aquatics will pay relay fees
