HEAT is recruiting officials!
To become a swimming official, no previous experience is required. In fact, you don’t even have to have a swimming background yourself. Enjoyment from watching competitive swimming is the only prerequisite!
- HEAT will pay your registration, training, and testing fees
- A uniform stipend will be provided upon successful completion of training
- Credentialed officials receive a stipend and meal for every swim meet session they work!
- Availability to work at HEAT hosted swim meets in Champaign-Urbana on set weekends in July and September through February
