High Performance

The High Performance Group is our most advanced group in the High School Division. wimmers in this group train to compete at USA Swimming’s highest levels, including Speedo Sectionals, Futures, and Junior Nationals. Many aspire to continue their careers at the collegiate level. Beyond performance, they are also growing as leaders and role models, setting the standard for the rest of the team.

Practices

The High Performance groups practice anywhere from six to eight times per week in the water, depending on the time of year. Doubles are required as part of the weekly schedule for High Performance swimmers. During the high school season, swimmers will train with their respective high schools in the afternoon.

Dryland is performed off-site in the High School Division. Swimmers are expected to work out expectations with the coaching staff.

Although we understand that lives are busy and swimmers in the High School Division have other priorities to take care of, swimmers are encouraged to attend all practices offered to maximize both their progression and enjoyment of our team and sport. High Performance Group swimmers are expected to maintain 100% practice attendance. Any absences while in the High Performance Group are expected to be communicated to the coaching staff in advance, and make-up opportunities or training expectations while away are to be expected.

Meets

We encourage swimmers in the High School Division to continue prioritizing competing in meets. Meets are the best way to track progress and evaluate adjustments and corrections that need to be made in their races and training.

We recommend that swimmers attend as many meets as possible throughout the season. Additionally, swimmers are expected to compete in the highest Championship Meet that they qualify for.
