What is USA Swimming and do I need to sign up for it? USA Swimming is the National Governing Body for the sport of swimming in the United States. All LST Members must be registered with USA Swimming in order to compete on the team. To complete your registration, go to https://www.usaswimming.org/.

How do I sign up for a meet? On the LST website, under Events & Swim Meets, click on the Team Events Tab. From there all meets will populate. You must be logged in in order to click on the red 'Edit Commitment' button. You will be taken to the page to declare your swimmer as attending or declining. Please be sure to add notes within the notes section that include which days your swimmer might not be able to attend.
Do I need to pick my swimmer's events during meets? You are more than welcome to add suggestions to the 'Notes' area of the sign up page, but it isn't necessary. Coaches will work with swimmers to identify the events that are the best fit for them.
What is a championship style meet? Championship meets have preliminary sessions (prelims) where the swimmer qualifies for the finals session later that day. Depending on the event, there can be a single championship heat in the finals, or a consolation and championship heat in the finals.
What is Meet Mobile? The Meet Mobile app displays meet results in real time as data is received during meets from the timer (one heat at a time). This app has the ability to display heat sheets, psych sheets, records, team scores, and time standards.
Do we have to buy a new LST team suit every year? Team suit cost is included in the team registration fees at the beginning of short course season. If you need additional LST spirit wear or supplies, check out our LST Shop at Elsmore!
