I love coaching because you can teach, experience, and learn many major skills while in the sport that you might not have had otherwise. It’s always been more to me than laps in the pool, times on a stopwatch, or making a podium. Learning how to overcome setbacks or loss. Staying disciplined on underwaters, turns, or proper rest. It will always be something I strive to teach and demonstrate for those I coach.
