Meet sign-ups are on the website under the Team Events page.
- Coaches will select events for each swimmer.

- Coaches’ contact info is available on the team website

How often should my swimmer attend practice?
There is no strict attendance requirement, but:
- Swimmers attending less than 50% may struggle with consistency
- Some groups may have higher expectations (60–70%) due to performance goals
My swimmer got disqualified (DQ) in a race. Is that bad?
Not at all—DQs are common, especially for younger swimmers learning the rules of each stroke. They tend to decrease with experience.
Please encourage your swimmer to talk with their coach about what happened so they can learn and grow.
Do swimmers receive ribbons or medals?
Yes!
- Some meets offer ribbons or medals for top finishers
- Coaches will distribute awards during practice as they become available
Note: Not all meets provide ribbons or medals.
How do I see what events my swimmer is competing in?
The Meet Mobile app is a great tool that provides real-time updates from every meet we attend. You can view your swimmer’s heats, lanes, and race results as they happen.
We also recommend downloading the SportsEngine app. Using your login from our team website, you can easily access upcoming events and meet details.
