MIZ ZOU SST RAH
The Sheridan Swim Team had outstanding results at the Tiger Invite Meet hosted by Columbia Swim Club TigerSharks in Columbia, MO!
SST parents took home some tired kiddos that left it all in the pool!! WAY TO GO SST!
The gentlemen swam in the 12 & U 200 Free Relay taking 1st place and 2nd place in the Medley Relay, way to go: Joel Williams, Aaron Miller, Leo Wang, Ethan Steinkamp and Declan Tierney.
Joel Williams won First Place in multiple events: 200 Free, 50 Fly 50 Breast, 50 Free, and the 100 Fly. Based on his showing Joel qualified for State in the 200 Breast, 200 Free and 100 Free.
Caleb Williams showed up strong with 2nd place in the 100 free and 3rd place in the 100 fly and a State Qualifying time in the 200 Fly at 2:05.42.
Abby Lewton took 2nd place in the 100 back and two third place finishes in the 50 free and 200 back.
Maggie Mahoney competed in a swim off to make the finals Saturday and took 2nd place in the 15 Over 100 Free.
Laynie Hart set a PR with a first time under 30 in 50 free swimming with a time of 29.54. Laynie qualified for State in the 100 Breast and 200 Breast and Regionals in the 50 free, 100 free and 200 free.
Declan Tierney qualified for State in the 50 free and 100 back.
Making Reginal Time at Mizzou were Weston Reyburn, Sydney Hibbard, Owen Markert, Luke Miller, Aaron Miller, Leo Wang and Declan Tierney.
ALL SST Swimmers enjoyed the opportunity to swim at Mizzou Aquatic Center home the University Missouri Tigers Swimming and Diving. Thank you to the CSC TigerSharks for putting on a wonderful met. Next Up for SST is a trip to Eisenhower Pool in Springfield, Illinois to compete in the 2023 Red Raider Valentine Day Classic February 10-12 hosted by the Red Raider Aquatics.
