SST at the Valentine Classic
Sheridan Swim Team wrapped up Short Course Season with another fantastic swim this past weekend. SST is proud to report FAST results from Valentine Classic Swim Meet hosted by the Red Raider Aquatics from the Eisenhower Pool in Springfield, Illinois.
New Regional Cuts
Sydney Hibbard in the 500 Free with a time of 5:49.71.
Ethan Steinkamp came in with a time of 1:13.64 in the 100 backstroke.
Aaron Miller flew in with a time of 33.06 in the 50 Butterfly and came back to make the cut with a time of 1:14.99 in the 100 Backstroke.
Leo Wang closed out the season with some time cuts in the 50 and 200 butterfly with a time of 33.38 in the 50.
SST is proud of ALL Swimmers who were able to DROP Times and set PR’s this Short Course Season. The work continues for the Championship Team and preparation has already begun for Long Course Season to include hosting our home meet, the Titan Firecracker in June 23rd to the 25th and River Country Swim League with four home meets in June and July.
The first of the Illinois Swimming Championship Meets is back at the Eisenhower Pool in Springfield for the 2023 Illinois Swimming Winter Regional Championship hosted by Red Raider Aquatics February 24th to the 26th.
2023 Illinois Swimming State Championships sponsored by Speedo are hosted by the Academy Bullets Swim Club at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Illinois March 2nd to the 5th.
2023 Illinois Swimming Age Group Championships hosted by the Fox Valley Swim Team in Hobart, Indiana March 9th to the 12th.
