SST Compete at STATE
Illinois Swimming State Championship Meet Results are in from the Senior Champs at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont, Illinois March 2nd to the 5th and the 2023 Illinois Swimming Age Group Championships hosted by the Fox Valley Swim Team in Hobart, Indiana March 9th to the 12th.
The Sheridan Swim Team is very proud of all our swimmers! They work hard in the classroom and put exceptional work in at practices. It takes a lot of hard work and discipline to achieve State times in Illinois to compete in the State Championship Meet. We had four swimmers qualify Congratulations, Senior Champs was Abby Lewton and Age Group Champs was Joel Williams, Caleb Williams and Declan Tierney! Keep working hard and dropping those times and best of luck in the upcoming Short Course season.
Joel Williams competed in the 100 Breast, 50 Fly, 100 Free, 50 Back, 50 Breast, and 50 Free posting a couple of 2nd place finishes and several PR’s.
Caleb Williams was off the blocks at State in the 100 Free, 200 Free, 100 Fly, 100 Back, 200 Fly, and the 50 Free with a of PR 22.34.
Declan Tierney qualified and showed up posting PR’s in each event in the 50 Free,
100 Free, 50 Back, 100 Back and 200 Free.
Abby Lewton swam great in the 100 free, 200 back, 50 free, 100 back, 200 IM, 200 Fee and 100 fly.
