SST Kicks Off Long Course

SST began the Long Course Season at the 2023 METS Long Course Kickoff in Edwardsville, Illinois this past weekend.   

The Sheridan Swim Team rocked it.

Joel Williams took 1^st place in the 50 Fly with a time of 29.87 – a New Meet Record and an *AAAA Time.  He also swam great in the 50 Back taking 3rd place and had new state times in the 100 breast and 100 free.

Caleb Williams jumped into Long Course taking 3^rd place in the 100 Fly.

Arden Tierney took on the 50 Back with 1st Place, 50 Fly: 3rd place, 100 Free: 2nd place, 50 Breast: 1st place, 100 Back: 1st place.

New State times

Declan Tierney also dropped in with a state time the 100 Free and 50 Free and Regional Time cuts in the 100 breast, 50 breast and 100 back. 

New Regional times for Beck Grifford with his First Regional Cut in the 50 Back.  Luke Miller in the 100 Fly, 100 Back, Brendan Worster 100 Fly, Morgan Musholt with his First Regional Cut in the 100 Breast, 50 Back, 50 Fly, 100 Free, 100 Fly and 50 Free.  Arden Tierney additionally made his First Regional Cut in the 50 Free.  Leo Wang was able to make 9 out 10 cuts for Regionals with a strong swim to kick of the season.
