Let’s Swim Bahamas is a learn-to-swim program that provides free swim lessons to Government Primary Schools. Students are taught the fundamentals of swimming by Swim America certified coaches. Swim lessons are conducted during school hours using private pools and Let’s Swim Bahamas manages the organization and cost of transportation to and from school.     

Let’s Swim Bahamas works with local BAF registered swim clubs to help create a scholarship program to provide reduced cost after-school and summer swim lessons. Kid’s Kamps have been conducted in Eleuthera, Abaco, and Exuma during the summer months. Students that have passed Station 8 or higher are eligible for sailing scholarships with The Bahamas National Sailing School.

          The Ministry of Education has reviewed our Water Safety Cay Colouring and Activity Book and endorses its use in the Primary schools of The Bahamas. The book has been distributed twice (2014 and 2018) throughout The Bahamas to the over 26,000 Government Primary school children throughout The Bahamas.
