Our Senior Group swimmers were awesome this past weekend at the Great Halloween Festival. From running all of the carnival games to being actors who scared people in the Haunted House, our swimmers showed up for their community in a big way! #umlyswimtradition
Speedo will be onsite on Tuesday, October 14th to measure and fit tech suits for our 13 & Over swimmers. Toad Hollow will also be onsite to take orders with a 20% discount for anyone who orders at the fitting. Please take advantage of this awesome opportunity!

Our Senior Groups celebrated the fall season with a breakfast after their last outdoor practice on Saturday and then a trip to Bates Motel on Sunday night! Many thanks to Age Group Reps Kari Hutto and Suzanne Scheel for organizing these events.
We are excited to announce that UMLY’s Annual Photo Day will be held on Thursday, October 17th at the 50-meter outdoor pool. This will be a great opportunity for individual and team photos, and we hope to see all of our swimmers there (including Pre-comp 1 & 2)! Schedule 4:15 PM - Individual Photos 5:00 PM - Year-Round Team Photo 5:30 PM - Coaches Headshots 5:45 PM - Individual Photos Attire For individual photos, swimmers can wear either their team shirt, their team suit, or a plain navy blue suit....
It's a wrap on practicing in our outdoor LCM pool for the year! Our Senior Groups had a breakfast today after practice to celebrate. A new practice schedule starts on Monday, October 7th. Make sure you check our website for the new schedule.
UMLY will be hosting a Parent Meeting in the basketball gym (next to the B Pool) from 1:30 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, September 28th. New Parents - please report to the gym at 1:30 pm. Returning Parents and New Parents - please attend the season overview meeting at 2:15 pm.
Today, Coach Jamie gave a lecture on shoulder anatomy and the importance of stretching and strengthening the shoulder. UMLY is so fortunate that one of our coaches is also a doctor. Thank you, Coach Jamie!
UMLY held its 4th annual regatta for the Senior Groups yesterday. Using cardboard, our Senior Group swimmers broke into small teams and competed to build the best designed and fastest boat among them. It was a great team bonding event! Congratulations to Team USA for building the fastest boat and to Nuclear Tank for having the best designed boat!!!
