2024 Illinois YMCA Swimming Long Course Date Announcment

The Illinois YMCA Committee meet last night to discuss the Date for the 2024 Illinois YMCA Swimming Long Course Championship Meet. The original date that was set for the meet had to be changed due to a conflict with Lake Central High School. After receiving feedback from the teams in the state and looking at the YMCA National Long Course date, it was unanimously decided that this year’s Long Course Meet will be held on July 12^th – 14^th at Lake Central High School.

The Illinois YMCA Swimming Committee and the YMCA Districts were established with the purpose of governing YMCA competitive swimming in the State of Illinois as well as conducting YMCA Swimming Championships. These Championships are governed by the current National YMCA "Rules That Govern YMCA Competitive Sports," the Rules Governing Illinois YMCA Swimming Competition and, to the extent not inconsistent with the foregoing and current USA Swimming Technical Rules.
