Practice/Meets Update

Swimmer's families,

There are a number of practice changes and meet updates you need to be aware of in the next few weeks.

Upcoming schedule changes – There are some changes to the normal practice schedule in January. There is a home meet next Thursday, so we will have dryland only for the Gold 1, Gold 2 and Platinum groups from 5:00-5:45pm. On three of the next four Fridays (10, 24, 31) Community Ed is having their Frozen Friday open swim nights. Our practice time on those dates have been adjusted to fit into the allotted time. The online calendar has been updated to reflect all of these changes.

Upcoming meets – The last two regular meets of the season are still open for entry signup.

Mankato invitational (January 26) – Entries for this meet close on January 13. This is a great meet for everyone!

West Express last chance open (Feb 8-9) – Entries for this meet will close on January 20. Good meet for everyone in a fast pool, this will be a full meet.

Final entries for the Foxjets Winter Classic meet (Jan 10-12) -- are posted on our website, including some open lane swims I was able to add. I will let you all know the specific schedule and other details as I receive them during the week of the meet.

I am always available, if any of the kids or you, as parents, have any questions. We have a great group of swimmers and swimmer families that make up the High Tides Swim Club and I look forward to a fun, successful 2020!
