Weekly update
Swimmers families,
We had a great time with all the swimmers in our first intersquad mini-meet last night. It was great to see all of our swimmers cheering for each other and building our team spirit. Thank you also to our more experienced parents and swimmers for helping those new to the competition part of swimming learn about how a meet works. It is so nice to see coaches, parents and swimmers working together to make High Tides the best it can be.
Schedule for the week – No pool time tonight because of the Tigersharks home meet, but there is dryland for the Gold 1, Gold 2 and Platinum groups from 5:00-5:45pm. We will have a regular schedule for the rest of the week, weather permitting. It looks like we might have some snow on Friday,so keep an eye on the weather. If you think it may be unsafe for you to make it to any practice session, please don't travel. I will try to determine by 3:30-4:00pm at the latest if weather is bad enough to cancel practice. If practice is cancelled, I will send out an email and post on the home page of the website.
Entries have been updated on our website for two meets – The Mankato open on January 26, entries are now closed, and the West Express open Feb 8-9, entries will be final on January 16th. Please check these carefully and let me know as soon as possible if there are any errors or changes that need to be made for these two meets.
Let me know if you have any questions or concerns, I am always receptive to any input you might have. I can be reached at 230-583-9182, or [email protected]
See you at the pool!
Coach R.J.
