Swimmers families,

Last weekend 11 High Tides swimmers attended the Vince Herring meet in Rochester MN. We had lots of fun and good swims.  As a team we achieved 28 personal best times. Two outstanding swimmers from the meet were Lauren Scheidt, who had 8 out of 9 personal best times, and a new champ time in the 50 freestyle, and Grayson O'Neill who had 7 out of 10 personal best times and 2 new champ times.  The next meet for our team will be this weekend at the Minnesota Achievement Championships in Alexandria MN, where we will have 7 swimmers competing.

The following weekend is the Minnesota Regional Championship meet that we will be hosting. With 17 teams attending, we will need all hands on deck.  Please be sure to sign up for volunteer duties on the web site. We have a great group of families and it takes every member to pitch in and  volunteer time and doante to make our meets a success. We currently have 20 swimmers entered in the meet, and the entries can be seen on our meet webpage (click here)

As we near the end of our season, the State Championships for our Age Group swimmers (14 and under) and for our Senior swimmers (15-18 year olds) are coming up.  The last day of regular practices for swimmers not attending one of these meets will be Thursday, February 27th.  Our Spring/Summer season will begin on Monday, April 6th, and our Winter Awards night will be held on Thursday, March 26th.
