first Carlson Pool practice tonight

Swimmers families,

I am so excited to get our winter season going tonight in the Carlson Pool! Just a couple of things that have/will change with this upcoming restart.

No swimmers that are unregistered for the season will be allowed to enter the pool for practice.

Tonight we will enter the pool from the North doors, as we did this summer, but they will not be propped open, and they will not be unlocked until 5:40pm, so that the Tigersharks girls have a chance to get off the deck. As the weather changes, we may make adjustments to our building entry procedure.

Coaches/volunteers will not be taking temperatures at the door. It is your responsibility to take your swimmers temp at home before leaving for practice. (We will have the temp scanner for those who forget!) There will be a check-in sheet that swimmers will sign to verify they have taken their temp and are symptom free.

Swimmers should all be accustomed to wearing masks from being in school, remember that wearing a mask is recommended during our entry and exit protocols.

As of right now, we have 19 swimmers registered, and lanes/pods will be set up tonight at practice. As our numbers grow, there will be a bit of lane shifting to balance out the lanes/pods.

Other than that, things will be as they were this summer, and any changes will be communicated as we go.
