MEET ENTRY PROCESS

We have streamlined our procedures!

 

Freedom Aquatics swimmers are automatically registered for every meet that Freedom Aquatics is scheduled to attend. It is the parents responsibility to opt out of a swim meet that they are unable to attend.

Prior to a scheduled swim meet, as a parent, you will receive an email announcement of a swim meet that Freedom Aquatics is planning to attend. This email will notify you that the first draft of events that your swimmer has been entered in by their coach (1st Draft) has been posted on our website. Please visit our website and review the days, sessions and events that they are scheduled to participate. After reviewing this information please send a *text message to their location coach via their work number with any necessary changes, ie. unable to attend, can only attend certain days, etc. See Coaches contact info HERE.

Prior to the meet, you will receive a second email (Final Draft). This email will notify you that the final list of entries (with any changes you requested) has been posted on our website. This will be your FINAL opportunity to make any changes before entries are submitted to the Meet host and Meet fees are incurred. Please review this file carefully, any changes received after the due date of this email will not be accepted and meet fees will NOT be refunded.

Meet entries are due to the Meet host club weeks before the meet. Once the entries are submitted to the Meet Host, the swimmer’s spot is secured and Freedom Aquatics has guaranteed payment to the host team. Changes and/or refunds cannot be made after the deadline.

*Text messaging is the only form of communication for meet entry changes. Conveying your preferences through email or verbally to coaches and/or administrators is not acceptable and may  result in the changes not being made and meet fees to be incurred.
