5 Metro Athletes Named to National Team

USA Swimming has announced 94 athletes have been named to the 2023-24 National Team. Among those are 5 athletes registered in the Metropolitan Swimming LSC. Congratulations to the following athletes:

Catie Deloof (New York Athletic Club) - 2021 Olympian, Bronze Medalist in the 4x100 Free Relay

Kate Douglass (New York Athletic Club) - 2021 Olympian, Bronze Medlaist in the 200 IM; Former Metro Age Group Zone Team Member, Metro JO (now AGC) Champion, Senior Mets Champion, and Metro Record Holder in multiple events.

Tess Howley (Long Island Aquatic Club) - 2023 Junior National Champion in the 100 and 200 Fly, Championship Record Holder in the 200 Fly; 2022 Junior Pan Pacific Team Member, Silver Medalist in the 200 Butterfly; US Open and National Championship finalist and medalist; 2021 Olympic Trials Semi-Finalist; Former Metro Age Group Zone Team Member, and Metro JO (now AGC) Champion, Senior Mets Champion, and Metro Record Holder in multiple events.

Hunter Armstrong (New York Athletic Club) - 2021 Olympian, Gold Medalist in the 4x100 Medley Relay, 10x World Championship Medalist.

Ryan Held (New York Athletic Club) - 2016 Olympian, Gold Medlaist in the 4x100 Free Relay; 9x World Championship Medlaist.
