Welcome to the Storm Swim Club!

The South Metro STORM Swim Club operates year round. We have four sessions that run in line with the school calendars. General start up dates are: Spring: early April, Summer: early June, Fall: after Labor Day and Winter: after Thanksgiving. Registration dates precede the first practice and these are announced roughly one month in advance.

Here are some important details that you should know.

If you have never swam with the Storm before, we ask that you attend the New Swimmer Evaluation Night on March 19th, 2024 at Century Middle School in Lakeville at 6:00 PM.  Please fill out the form so we can know to expect you.  Registration for the club can be found on the home page for both our Storm Chasers Learn to swim and the Storm Swim Team.

We have expanded to Shakopee!  Come join us for a Storm Open House night on March 27th, 2024.  Meet our coaches and explore our facilities.  This evening is for new swimmers or those who have swam for years, but are considering a change.

The Season Starts on April 8th.  You can find the practice schedules online.  This is a live document and changes do occur from time to time.  Please do not print out the calendars, you can subscribe via google calendars and have them update live on your phone.

We do ask that all members help with our swim meets.  Each family is asked to assist with on meet per season.  This is detailed on our volunteer page.  There are 3 seasons where you are asked to help.  They are: Fall / Winter / Spring Summer. 

We will also host a New Parent Meeting the first week of the season.  Details will follow once our meeting space and date are confirmed.
